One of the oldest robotic competitons, Robot Battles was first staged in 1991 and has been held annually ever since in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2002, they expanded to Denver, Colorado as well. Four weight classes, with 1 and 3 pounders in arena matches, and 12 and 30 pounders in summo matches.
