FIRST Lego League (FLL)

FLL is an international program for children created in a partnership between FIRST and the LEGO Company. Each September, FLL announces the annual Challenge, which engages the teams in hands-on robotics design and authentic scientific research. After 8 intense weeks, the FLL season culminates at high-energy, sports-like tournaments.

Robo Sapiens ( recreating life )

Robo sapiens is the robotics competition, a part of COGNIZANCE 2004, the annual techfest of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, INDIA.
There are two competitions :
1.Design and fabricate a two-wheeled robotic vehicle that is capable of negotiating and uneven terrain. &
2.Design a robot capable of negotiating a maze to retrieve a given object.

RoboCup Nepal

The Robotics Club, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal has been organizing national robot competition every year since 2004. The first contest was organized with the theme of Robo Soccer. This nationwide competition is intended to make the young emerging talents in the field of engineering throught the nation and to motivate them towards the generation and enhancement of creative ideas.
From this year onwards, the official name of the contest is branded as "RoboCup Nepal". RoboCup Nepal 2006 will be held on January 13th, 2007 under the game theme: "Mission Everest".

Robot DVDs

Lemon Studios presents PDXbot04 the DVD. Lemon Studios is a film and music studio owned by robot enthusiasts. Our first DVD is a fun to watch resource that captured all the action at the famous robot contest and exposition held in Portland Oregon in June 2004. We are currently in production of a how-to series of robot DVDs that will encompass various aspects of building different types of robots.
